Rev. Bekizipho Khulekani ‘BK’ Dludla was born in Melmoth in 1926, and moved to Durban. Dludla was ordained to Christian ministry in 1955. He was the Chair of Inanda Seminary from 1965-1981.
He was the first president of the Soldiers of Christ Movement and together with the late Rev.Wing, formulated the constitution of the U.C.C.S.A.
During apartheid era, Rev. Dludla used to provide shelter for political activists and his church was used as a cell for political meetings.
He was one of the members of the South African Council of Churches who made representation to the then President of the South Africa, Mr. P.W. Botha regarding the state of affairs of the country.
It was then that he self-appointed himself as spokesperson, demanding the release of Nelson Mandela.
Currently, he is helping less fortunate children by funding their education.
