Lapha sibheka umcimbi wombongo noma wokubongwa kwentombi ngokuthi isiqomile emzini othile. Lomcimbi wenziwa uma selimisiwe iduku eliwubufakazi bokuthi abantu baqomene futhi ukumiswa kweduku kwenzelwa ukuthi abantu asebeqomene baphumele obala kwaziwe nasendaweni ngabo.

Lokhu kuyokwenziwa kuyona yomibili imindeni ngalesosikhathi kusamiwe ngaphandle komuzi. Umakoti bayaye bamembese nezimpelesi zakhe. Uma sekumbathisiwe sebembiza ngomakoti owesifazane kuthi owesilisa usebizwa ngomkhwenyana. English Summary
This ceremony is a follow up on the ceremony that is performed by young women when they visit the home of a potential partner to hang a piece of cloth as a symbol of a developing relationship between the two. In this regard, this ceremony is done by the boyfriend’s family or peers where they visit the girl’s homestead after six months or a year of the relationship to give gifts to some family members. The ceremony is done in the afternoon where both sides of the families perform dances through the night. This is also regarded as a very first stage of marriage because in doing this the boyfriend is showing his willingness to marry the young woman.
