I come from a big family of Maphumulo. My grandmother’s mother was Mata Dlamini who was married in 1938 with Alfred Nsindane. They were blessed with six daughters Trizzah, Ntombikayise, Ntombifuthi, Thembekile, Nokuthula and Nomusa. And were blessed with five sons which were Dlokwakhe, Zibuse, Madala, David and Ziphathe. They used to eat isigwamba which is a mixture of mielie meal and herbs. They also ate izindlubu. They used to play skipping rope and Zulu dance in order for them to be entertained.
