Isigubhu

Isigubhu is a Zulu musical instrument which is used by the Zulu’s as an instrument to give some rhythm to their music. It is also used by Zulu traditional churches to give rhythm to their music.

The Shembe traditional church use isigubhu in their music.

The Zion traditional church use isigubhu in their music.

The use of isigubhu outside of church is known as indlamu (use of isigubhu to give rhythm to music).
