Iresiphi yeSoji (Semolina Pudding): Idizethi yamaNdiya Yesintu

ISoji noma i-semolina pudding yisidlo sendabuko samaNdiya aseThekwini esenziwe saphakwa njengedizethi. Ithengiswa ezindaweni zokudla zamaNdiya, ingenziwa nasekhaya. Isoji ingenziwa abesilisa nabesifazane futhi ngokuvamile ayisetshenziswa njengomnikelo kumaHindu ngezikhathi zemithandazo.

Umlando wesoji usukela ekufikeni kwabokufika baseNdiya eThekwini futhi usuqhubeke nezizukulwane ngezizukulwane ngenxa yokwenziwa kwedizethi (dessert). Ingenziwa ngokusebenzisa i-semolina noma i-Tasty Wheat. ISoji ngokuvamile inombala omhlophe kodwa umbala wokudla ungasetshenziswa. Ngokuvamile isevwa emishadweni ingumbala ophuzi (yellow).

Soji

Izithako

  • 500g i-semolina noma i-Tasty Wheat
  • 2 izinti zesinamoni
  • 1 litha yamanzi abilayo
  • ½ ithini lobisi olujiyile
  • 1 ithisipuni ye-nestle cream (ngokuzithandela)
  • 1 ml i-ground nutmeg
  • 30 g ama-raisins (ngokuzithandela)
  • 300 g ibhotela
  • 2ml usawoti
  • 350 ml ushukela
  • 5 ml i-cardamon powder (elachi powder)
  • Ama-alimondi aqoshiwe
  • 1 ithisipuni sombala wokudla ( food colouring)

Indlela yokwenza

  • Shisisa ipani eliwugqinsi, faka i-semolina bese uyithosa ize ibe nsundu.
  • Govuza ungayeki ukuvimbela i-semolina ingashi.
  • Thela i-semolina ensundu endishini bese uyibeka eceleni.
  • Ncibilikisa ibhotela epanini, faka izinti ezimbili zesinamoni kwibhotela. Govuza ungayeki cishe imizuzu ewu-2.
  • Faka i-semolina ensundu ethosiwe ebhodweni elishisayo bese ugoqa, uhlanganise kahle nebhotela elicibilikile.
  • Faka amanzi abilayo, usawoti ugovuze kahle. Vumela ukuthi kubile kungashisi kakhulu kuze kube yilapho wonke amanzi ehwamuka futhi i-semolina ikhukhumele kahle.
  • Faka ubisi olujiyile (condensed milk), ushukela kanye nokhilimu uma ukhethe khona, uhlanganise kahle.
  • Fakaa umbala wokudla uma uthanda.
  • Fafaza amantongomane, i-cardamon powder nama-alimondi uhlanganise kahle. Ishiye kushisa kancane kuze kube yilapho usulungele ukuyiseva.
