The Imagine Durban project is pleased to invite all members of the public, businesses and schools to visit our free Sustainable City Exhibition taking place on the 13th to 15th August 2010 at the Durban Exhibition Centre, Hall 2, 11 Walnut Road , Durban.
The exhibition will provide you with an excellent opportunity to get more information and a better understanding on how to make your home, your business and your city more sustainable.
The following specific events will take place during the exhibition:

followed by a book launch:
“Innovations in Local Sustainability”: Good Practice in eThekwini

The permaculture book launch includes a presentation on Schools and Permaculture Food Gardening by Bev Ainslie, author of the book. Thereafter you are invited visit the Botanical Garden Permaculture stand for a hands on introduction to Permaculture Gardening.

The “Climate Change Competition” winners will be announced
The “Climate Change Competition” winners will be announced
This competition was hosted by the Environmental Planning & Climate Protection Department and Imagine Durban were pupils and/or teachers were asked to compile a report and design a poster on climate change.
There will be also be presentations throughout the three exhibition days.
