The original wood and iron shop at Motala Farm, owned by the Moonsamy family, is located next to the Temple and is the oldest building in the area. In the 1990’s it became the meeting place for the Assembly of God community. A photograph of it, taken in 1992, can be found in the Pinetown Museum collection.
