Ukwenziwa kotshwala lwesintu (lwesiZulu)

Utshwala besiZulu benziwa ikakhulukazi uma kunemicimbi emakhaya kuzobuthana abantu abaningi okufanele baphuze. Utshwala besiZulu akulula ukuthi wazi indlela okala ngayo, kuya ngobukhulu bomcimbi owenzayo zonke izithako ziyafana kanye nokubenza kulula.

Izithako (Ingredients)
Impuphu (maize meal)
Umthombo (malt)
Amanzi (water)
Isitsha esivulekile (25 litre bucket)

Uqala ubilise amanzi abe maningi, uthele impuphu ebhakedeni, bese ufaka amanzi abilile ebhakedeni elinempuphu, govuza kuze kuphole bese ufaka umthombo uphinde ugovuze kuze kuhlangane. Uma usuqedile uyakumboza uze ukupheke ngakusasa sekubilile. Kubizwa ngokuthi uyafudumezela.

Ngakusasa uyakupheka uma sekuvuthiwe bese uthululele esitsheni esivulekile ukuze kuphole. Uma sekupholile ufake umthombo ugovuze bese uyamboza. Ngakusasa uma sekubilile kunamagwebu uyakuvova ngevovo sekulungele ukuthi usungacima ngakho ukoma. Kubizwa ngokuthi usuyavubela.

Sorghum Beer
It is a traditional beer that the Zulu people used to make when they are having traditional ceremonies. They make this beer so that people who come to that ceremony will quench thirst after eating the meat and dumplings.
