Lomcimbi waqala ngosuku olwandulela olwamalungelo abantu lapho kwaqala ngemiqhudelwane yebhola lezinyawo phakathi kwamaqembu abesifazane kanye nawabesilisa wabe usuqhubeka nangoMsombuluko lapho ekwambulwa khona itshe.
Lelithimba lase Centurion ligxile kakhulu ekutheni intsha kumele ifunde ngamaqhawe alwela inkululeko yezwe ikakhulukazi leyo eyakhele lezozindawo. Umndeni wakwaLembede nawo wawuyingxenye yalomcimbi wokwembulwa kwetshe, wakujabulela okwenzeka waphinda wabonga indlela umcimbi ohambe kahle ngayo okungokokuqala emlandweni. Umcimbi waphetha ngokunikezelwa kwejezi kwababephumelele emqhudelwaneni webhola. Ziningi izinhlelo ezihleliwe emphakathini ukufundisa intsha ngamaqhawe endawo.
The Unveiling of Anton Lembede Monument, in Mbumbulu
The Unveiling of Anton Muziwakhe Lembede Monument took place on the 21st of March 2011 as part of Human Rights Day at Tobi Primary School where Anton Lembede attended his primary education. He was born on 21 January 1914 and died in 1947 and he was one of the founders of the African National Congress Youth League.
A youth delegation from the Centurion Branch, Johannesburg organised this event and invited members of the community, youth and Lembede family to be part of this historic day. The importance of this day was to remind and teach young people what Anton Lembede did not only for his community but for his country. The celebrations started a day before where young people competed for a soccer kit. Anton Lembede’s family was also present and they were happy about the event.

I appreciate all that was done by Centurion ANCYL to honour ubaba u Anton Lembede.
What the Centurion did was so humbling and appreciated. They did what was never done by any brach of the ANCYL. I get the sense that there is a lot of ANCYL members who do not know who Anton Lembede was.
This was the first President of the ANCYL and his secretory was Nelson Mandela. He was well educated,he held a BA Degree, LLB and a Master degree. He studied Law. I can safely brag and after him no any other President of the ANCYL has ever broke his record in terms of credentials since 1947.
One or two of his quatations are ‘Africa for Africans” another one is “My heart yearns for a new Africa,Africa that is gone,but I shall labour for an Africa free and strong among the nations of the world”
He was extremely eloquent and brilliant. He died at the age of 33.
