UBreyani Wenkukhu-An Indian Traditional Food

UBreyani yisidlo serayisi esikhonzwe kakhulu eNdiya futhi manje seyiyindlela yendabuko esetshenziswa abantu abaningi baseNingizimu Afrika. Kunezinhlobo ezahlukahlukene zikabreyani kufaka phakathi inkukhu, inhlanzi, inyama yemvu, imifino kanye nama-prawn’s.

Izithako

  • U-1 kg wenkukhu (owashiwe / wasikwa)
  • Inkomishi eyodwa ye- cup black lentils
  • Izinkomishi ezimbili zerayisi
  • Izipuni ezimbili zezinongo zikabreyani
  • Imiqu emine kapelepele  oluhlaza
  • Izipuniezimbili zikatamatisi ogayiwe
  • Ama-spring e-mint amabili
  • Ikota (¼) yesipuni se-tumeric powder
  • Isipuni esisodwa sikasawoti
  • Amazambane ayisithupha amancane (ageziwe, asikiwe)
  • Ikota nohhafu (¾) wamafutha ngenkomishi
  • Ithisipuni eyodwa ka-ginger kanye no-garlic
  • O-anyanisi ababili
  • Izipuni ezimbili ze- chilli powder

Indlela yokuwenza

Thosa amazambane aze ashintshe umbala, abe ngumbala wegolide (golden brown) bese uwabeka eceleni. Thosa  u-anyanisi ngezinongo zikabreyani ubeke eceleni. Faka inyama, i-ginger no-garlic, i-turmeric powder, i-chilli powder ne-chilies, usawoti embizeni bese ugovuza ngokushesha. Faka utamatisi neminti bese wehlisa umlilo. Kwelinye ibhodwe bilisa irayisi lize liqede bese ulibeka eceleni. Bilisa i- lentils yengeze erayisini eliphekiwe, elisebhodweni. Faka inkukhu ephekiwe phekwe rayisi, amazambane no-anyanisi. Beka ibhodwe kuhhavini kuze kube isitimu siyahwamuka nerayisi lithambile. Ungawudla nanona iliphi isaladi olithandayo. Ungaphakela  cishe abantu abayisithupha.
