This is a very old game. There is no limit to the number of participants. One child goes away and hides. The rest of the children wait until he/she shouts “come” then they start looking. The one who finds him/her will take the next turn of hiding. They play until they get tired and change to another game. One would find a child tightly standing at the corner or wardrobe trying to hide from others.
Custom associated with this game.
This game taught children to be able to hide. The Zulu people would hide during times of wars for the safety of their lives. That is why children had to be able to hide.
