Ukudla kwesintu

Zonke izizwe ezikhona zinokudla ezikudlayo ngokuhlukana kwazo njengesizwe samaNgisi, amaNdiya nezinye izizwana ezikhona eNingizimu ne-Afrika. La sizobala ukudla kwesintu okuthandwa kakhulu nobekudliwa emandulo, namanje okusadliwa. Kulokudla kubalwa indwamba (amasi), ugume, umbhuqwa, izinkobe, ujeqe, umbhaqanga, imifino, idokwe neyambazi, isidlwadlwa kanye nokunye okuningi.

Amasi
Indwamba ukudla okuthandwa kakhulu amaZulu njengamasi, ingakho aze aqanjwa izibongo nje. Ngizoke ngidlule kuzo kancane izibongo zamasi, ngiphinde nginabe kancane ngokwenziwa kwawo amasi. Uma kuvutshwa amasi, abesifazane babelungisa umcaba wezinkobe zommbila noma amabele. Uma usulungile umcaba uthathwe ngembenge uyiswe kusokhaya, njengoba yena ezivubela amasi akhe.

Amasi lawa aphathwa ngegula athelwe okhambeni lakhe akavubela kulo, kanye nezinkezo akazovuba ngazo ngesampontshi sazo. Umcaba lo ogayiwe kanye namasi asokhombeni bekumbozwa kuhlonishwa umnumnzane wekhaya. Uma sekulethiwe, umnumzane ubezivubela amasi adle, akekho obelokotha ukumaya engakamayi usokhaya. Amadodana kasokhaya ebedlela okhambeni ndawonye ngezinkezo zawo, mase kuthi izintshikizane zona zidle ngesandla. Uma amantombazane edla, akha amasi ngesandla sokuphonsa bathele kwesobunxele badle ngaso. Amasi lawa, ukuze abekhona, bekusengwa inkomo ezele, isengwa yizinsizwa noma abafana abekhulile.
