Lorraine Scott has been involved with the hearing and sight impaired public for over 63 years. She is involved with the KZN Blind and Deaf Society and has helped to initiate funding through Lions Club International Foundation for proposed hearing and sight related clinics in Durban. She has received international recognition for her dedication and versatility as a community builder. For the past six years Lorraine Scott has donated jerseys to children with disabilities. She accomplishes this with seven dedicated ladies aged 65 to 80 who are virtually knitting throughout the year. To date this has benefitted over 3000 children.
